About 4 years ago, I was searching for ways to keep my wardrobe tidy, YouTube has always been the site I seek when searching for an idea of being a kinetic learner.
As a dyslexic, I prefer to learn by observing how things are done, videos are a great medium since it has the function to re-watch and rewind the videos as many times as I liked, to grasp the skill, concept, and procedures that are required for each project.
First Impressions – The first video I watched by Cassandra was from her old channel on YouTube malitose79. I was hooked from the start! Learning personal organizational skills has never been so fun, she just perks me up every time with her cheery personality and I find her videos very relatable.

Cassandra Aarssen home organization extraordinaire –   I love her videos; she has always shown that even with a tight budget you are able to transform any space of your home into an organized, functional and ethically beautiful space. Yes, I might live a day’s journey away from Canada but my little island of Singapore does have a ton of budget-friendly stores with similar concepts to Dollar Tree enabling me to use some of Cass’s ideas.
Which Clutterbug are you?– Cass has cleverly defined different organizational styles by categorizing each style with bug characters, doing the quiz on her website helps you to define your organisational style.
Knowing your style will not only help with keeping your spaces tidy but also aid in productivity.
I currently don’t have my own apartment but I used these new skills I learn about my traits at work. In my day job, working as a receptionist is ever-ready to assist in the name of the game.
I have a tendency to have a ton of projects on hand at once. After taking the quiz I found that my mannerisms in organising are of a busy bee.
For each clutter bug, Cass has a set of useful tips and I can testify that following her methods really does help both at home and at work.

Open shelving and little bins helped me at work to complete a task in mere seconds, previously I had to scramble to find the items that I require while a client or staff member waited for me,  problem solved, everything is at my fingertips and putting away my stationery is a breeze.
