I dyed my hair last when I was 18 years old. This year tired of my dull black hair, I decided to get a change hair makeover in Singapore.
Yes, as you can see, I really needed a change badly…
In search of a good salon to get my colouring done, I came across http://www.beautyundercover.sg. This website is excellent for helping you decide which salon to go to; they have a listing of salons complete with reviews.
After browsing online, I decided to go to Kobayashi Hair Design to get my hair done.
My stylist was Song Hee, a super adorable Korean lady. She has great reviews online from both men and women.
If you are worried about the language barrier, fear not. She speaks English well; for one, I had a great time chatting with her. She is very polite and dedicated to her work; when other customers requested her to cut their hair, she apologized as she was preoccupied with dyeing my hair and suggested another stylist. This is what I call professionalism!
Song-Hee was nice when I asked her opinion and gave me tips on what would do me best. I chose to colour my hair chocolate brown with gold highlights. Due to my tan-yellowish skin, darker colours suit me better.
Taken after I had my hair done
I love the end result; the colour and highlights suited me well and brought out my features. I had temporary curls done to get a taste of what I would look like with loops at my ends.
Taken a few weeks later, the colours
are more distinct after a few weeks of washing.
I would recommend Kobayashi Hair Design; this Japanese salon has proven to provide excellent service and quality at a budget that won’t bust your bank account.
