Best Super Silent Japanese Stedia Sink from Song-Cho – Originally we wanted the SC/SA Kitchen Sink W75cm (B Style Kitchen Sink) but the size was just too big for our kitchen counter so we settled for the Super Silent Stedia Sink SD Kitchen Sink (W65cm) instead which is retailing at S$995.00. I totally detest sponge holders which don’t drain out the water making It a breeding ground for germs and bacteria. I can just simply detach the rack and clean it as and when I need too I have a separate sponge to clean my sink and its accessories so I would reach for that and clean the rack once a week with dish detergent.
My sink was installed by Hosen from Swiss Interior who was very meticulous when it came to measurements so I provided him with the sinks plans which I got from calling up Song-Cho to fit my custom made kitchen counters. Hosen is very experienced and I didn’t have to tell him what a housekeeper at my workplace taught me, that you should never make your sink flush with your countertop instead create a slight step above it so that you won’t have water slashing over the sink when in use this is called an under-mount sink.
