I remembered my catechist telling me during my confirmation that there should always be a feast to celebrate after receiving a sacrament. We booked the church cafeteria to have a buffet lunch with family and friends.

Impress your guest with beautiful wedding décor at the buffet – the décor was lovely an additional cost is added for the décor. We chose the Ivory Rustic theme which gave an old-world romantic feel. It had a rustic mailbox some flowers and ivory skirting.
The guest all commented that the food was very delicious, and there was more than enough for everyone because we order an additional 5 packs as some of my nephews are still at a growing age and would usually like to help them to a second or third helping.
I also invited the priest, the church choir as well as those helping out at the church to help themselves to the buffet. It was a way to thank them for taking time off their busy schedules to help us with the wedding.
Things to ensure that your wedding lunch runs smoothly – The caters came about half an hour before lunchtime to set up so ensure that you have a friend to help you ensure they set up at the right area and also to be there when they are packing up. It is only common courtesy to ensure there is no mess left after the luncheon. There was another wedding at 3:00 pm so we wanted to ensure all was spick and span for the next party.
My friend mentions to me that the church cafeteria at St. Vincent De Paul was perfect it was huge and also air-conditioned. The church secretary was very kind and helpful when we were making arrangements. He gives us very good advice and coordinated everything very well; assisting us with bookings as well as editing the service booklet I can’t thank him enough. I feel very blessed to be part of the catholic community in Singapore.
