I got to know about Cang AI Wedding during my search for bridal studios on google maps. They had many positive reviews with many of their clients raving about their pre-wedding photos. I too was impressed by the beautiful photos and decided to head down with dear to the bridal studio which is located in Tanjong Pagar.
After signing my wedding venue package with Furama River Front dear and I headed to Cang Ai Wedding. I must say I am very impressed by their sales team. They are very efficient; one message on Facebook messenger was all it took to get an appointment on the same afternoon.
My coordinator was Xiao Ting, from the beginning she wasn’t pleased with the amount that we had budgeted for the pre-wedding and actual day she kept pushing us to go overseas for our wedding shot when we insisted that we would like to have it done locally. Luckily for us, manager 林 overheard us and came over to put together a package that was within our budget.
She was adorable and very motherly. She slowly states all the items we would require for both our pre-wedding shoot and the actual day and asked if we were comfortable with the amount that would be charged.
Xiao Ting’s face got blacker and blacker, I guess it would affect her commission from then on she never recommended us any other services that Chang Ai provided. However, she is pretty responsible she keeps following up with WhatsApp messages on when we would like our photo shoot to be taken and when we would like to meet up. That was the reason I didn’t request a change of coordinator.
Our pre-wedding and actual-day package consisted of the following items:
1) For pre-wedding: 3 gowns for me and 2 suits for dear. 3 locations.
2) For an actual day – 2 gowns 1 Kua and 1 suit. We topped up for another suit for dear about a year closer to our wedding date. A small bouquet of flowers, wedding car deco and boutonniere were also part of the package.
3) Pre-wedding makeup artist and actual day makeup artist.
We signed the wedding package – mainly because they provided a Kua and I loved the photography work which isn’t the typical cookie-cutter scene. Manager 林has also gave me confidence in Cang Ai Wedding as the company is established in Taiwan their headquarters, in Japan and Hong Kong.
The staff mainly speaks mandarin, after all, they are a Taiwanese company. All the documents are written in Chinese as well but thankfully dear is better versed in the language than I am.
Looking back if you asked me if I regretted choosing this company right away and not going to other bridal studios, I would say no overall the service was good and when my wedding car driver was 3 hours late they waited patiently for the car to arrive. Also, I liked the fact that their older gowns were sold off or used for outdoor shoots, and the newer ones were reserved for the actual day. I have been to a wedding where the bride’s gown was pretty ragged and old not something I would like to portray at my wedding. Cang AI’s gowns are also designed and made in Taiwan and I do say that I liked Taiwanese fashion.
