Siloamxperience Outreach: Love Thrifting with Sweet Bunny

In July, I popped by Siloamxperience Outreach Limited to donate some items. I got to know about this organisation thru Facebook when I chanced upon their post requesting old water bottles and school bags for the children in Cambodia. The response was phenomenal; you could say that the post went viral; there were enough for 2 schools instead of one; it really warms your heart when you think of all the children who will benefit from this collection.

During my visit, I was warmly welcomed when I arrived by a staff member who was kind enough to show me around and inform me about the ongoing projects and the excellent work they have done in Cambodia.

I admire that they strive to improve the lives of many villagers by:

Conducting health and hygiene wellness trips.
Health ambassador partnership
Feeding the poor
House Repairs

Their organisation is based in Yishun in an industrial building where a thrift shop is located. I love their philosophy of Refuse, Reduce, Reuse and recycle. This is beneficial to society as well as the environment. They accept clothes, books and other items that are in good condition. Best is if you could give them a call or message them via Facebook before you bring down your donations. Or even better yet, see anything you like? Purchase it! You never know what treasures you may find in this nifty thrift shop.
